Being founders ourselves, we know the pains of raising capital. We saw the need for a founder-friendly, early-stage VC fund. Given how fast technology evolves, we also saw the need for a VC that understood tech like the back of their palm.

Vision & Mission

Licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, our vision is to be the preferred early-stage VC in South Asia. We aim to be the gateway for South Asian startups to enter the Southeast Asian ecosystem.
We learned that the best way to build a startup is through revenue, not venture capital. To help founders gain traction fast, we leverage our vast network of potential customers spread across Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands and Europe.
Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t.

Chalinda has been working with startups for almost 15 years, mentoring over 3,000 entrepreneurs. Over the years he has helped launch over 50 startups across South & Southeast Asia. He is a recipient of the prestigious Chevening Fellowship from the University of Oxford.

Kumar Buvanendaran

Successfully Co-Founded/Exited PRIME AE Group, a $70M Architecture and Engineering services firm operating in 18 offices across nine states. In addition, he acquired 3SG Plus, a $5M technology solutions firm operating in the United States and India. Kumar serves as CEO and/or Executive Chairman for both ventures to execute growth strategy and maximize operations and financial performance. Kumar brings over 30 years of performance management experience actively investing in an ever-growing portfolio of small businesses and start-up companies.

Imran Bhuiyan

Imran is currently an MBA candidate at INSEAD, set to graduate in December 2023. With a passion for the crossroads of technology, strategy, and investment, he has honed his skills over six years in both early-stage investments and consumer tech in Bangladesh working for companies like Osiris Capital and Pathao. He is always on the lookout for new trends and breakthroughs in the digital product sphere. When not working, he finds solace in travelling to new places and expanding his horizons - he has already explored 20 countries and counting. In his downtime, he indulges in his love for movies and 90s rock music.

Tharinda Wettasinghe

Tharinda holds a BSc in Finance (Special) from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London. She is also an ACMA, CGMA member. Tharinda's qualifications include being a passed finalist in the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT SL), a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB), and a BCS UK Certificate in IT.
